 Tribal belt with fringe. Belt base made in India & is black cotton embellished with beads, cowrie shells & buttons. Some pieces are glass, some bone & I believe buttons are either glass or bone. They are cold to the touch & don't feel like plastic, though they could be resin. Fringe is 18" rayon chainette fringe. Belt base length is 27 1/2", ties are 15" or 16" if you count the cowrie shell & bead at the end, fringe extends along 24 1/2" of base. Hanging length is 20" measured from top of belt to bottom of fringe. Very natural looking, would be great with cowrie tassels mixed with black & earthy colors. Sorry for the strange looking inset photo, (it is just a mannequin!)but I wanted to show both sides & it is difficult to photograph properly with anything under.
