 Akha natural fiber hilltribe/hill tribe headdress from Thailand. Akha women wear elaborate headdresses as part of their daily attire and on special occasions. These natural fiber ones are Loimi-Akha. Headdresses are decorated with german silver "buttons", seed beads, fabric poms & wood. Great look, would be perfect with lots of cowrie/cowry shells incorporated into the costume. I have three in inventory right now. Some loose threads & missing beads from the trip over here. The natural fiber hats are made by locals when they can't afford all the metal to make the other akha hats, but these are harder to come by & in my opinion, really gorgeous!
