Hailed by the Village Voice as "a British Amélie," this lighthearted film is the story of Janice (Eileen Walsh), who for her whole life has been spinning fabulous tales of the world outside for her agoraphobic mother. Now grown, and determined to earn the money to help her mother recover, Janice invents an elaborate résumé for herself and lands in an office typing pool. Her mismatched outfits, sunny naiveté, and desire to fit in make her a target for all sorts of mischief, and she soon is enmeshed in office intrigues and a romance with her underhanded coworker Sean (Rhys Ifans). This DVD is in widescreen format.
